My buddy has an Xbox that had a screwed up disc drive so when i put a game in, it just gos from reading disc and then says open tray, i put the disc drive from my xbox wich is working 100% fine in his to see if this would solve the problem, but now i get the “to play this disc put it in an xbox 360 console error” except i know that disc drive works great, anyone have any ideas?????

Yea i tried taking off the motor and it wasnt coming off and i broke it haha,thankfully it was on the 360 that didnt work in the 1st place…but even if you do this would that fix the ply DVD problem,like mine when i put a game disc it usually says play DVD

my motor wouldnt slide out like you demonstrated.. but i just gave the lense a good clean and now it works perfect thanks anyways.

Thank you, video creator. I thought those 3 screws might take the motor out, but wasn’t sure until I saw this. Strangely, I have a 1/2 inch black spring left over after performing this. It works perfectly.

people if you plug the disk drive in wrong you can get band for moding it happind to my frend he fuckd something like thiss up

my worm in the disc drive had erosion on it and there was paper lodged in the copper FUCKING MICROSOFT they can suck my dick i got a grinding noise now though…i noticed u have that white crap on urs too lol i cleaned that off mine.
