It was almost 2 years old already. So I got a new on with a 2 year warranty from walmart. So if my console breaks more than 3 times instead of sending it to microsof I can take it to walmart and they will give me a new one. Usually it starts with the xbox getting louder and louder over time when I turn it on. Eventually it gets so bad that it sounds like a fucking vacuum cleaner, even if it's just on the dashboard and not playing anything. And 4 days ago I got the E74 bulllshit, so I'm sending it in for repair ...AGAIN ugh.
